Ball bearings with four contact points (also known as ball bearings with four rolling tracks) are basically single row angular contact bearings that can absorb higher axial forces in both directions and little radial force. For this reason, they must be mounted in housings with a lot of clearance so that they cannot discharge radially.
There must be minimal axial force for correct operation at high speeds.
This bearing is made up of an outside ring and two semi inside rings (which can therefore be separated), allowing the bearing to be fitted with more balls, as well as a brass casing
Typical applications includes:
• Revolving tables (supporting great rigidity and minimal deformation)
• Machine tool (high speed and loads in minimal space)
• Rotating machinery
